The Andrew Lang - the Crimson Fairy Book
Andrew Lang (1844 - 1912) and his wife, Leonora Blanche Lang collected hundreds of Fairy Tales taken from the folklore, traditions and classical literature from many different parts of the World. Lang and his wife translated, adapted and edited these traditional stories for children. These multicultural stories from folklore were edited and then published into a series of children's books of Fairytales which he cleverly gave simple titles to which were named after various colors which appealed to children. The Crimson Book contains many favourite stories for children. Read the enchanting fairytales from the Crimson Book of Fairy Tales edited by Andrew Lang.
